River Brede
River levels have risen to high levels as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of property, roads and low-lying land is expected between 11am and 9pm today, Monday 16 January 2023. We expect flooding to affect properties along New Winchelsea Road. We expect river levels to peak between 4pm and 8pm this evening, as they are likely to be affected by the high tide. We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing structures and debris from rivers. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and remain aware of your local situation. This message will be updated by 9pm today, 16 January, or as the situation changes
